WHY: Why we exist ¶
We believe technology should create independence, not dependency.
The world should be a net better place after
our work: through shared knowledge, through open source, and by giving SMBs
the software power to compete with the big players.
Our enemy: waste and lock-in.
Marketplace commissions that rise overnight. Reinventing the wheel. Platforms that set the rules for your business.
Our love: craftsmanship.
Writing clean, reusable software.
HOW: How we do it ¶
⚡️ We are lean (this ensures easy maintenance and development) ¶
- Build reusable software. If we can make it a plugin, we should. No reinventing the wheel, no throwaway code
- Keep a small tech stack:
- Astro SSR
- Vendure
- Dokploy
- Minimize external systems and dependencies
- Automate the boring. Invoicing, taxes, shipping, fulfilment integrations.
- Document code in code comments and JSDoc. Minimize external docs.
- No waste. Not of time, code or money
🌍 We make the world a better place ¶
- Open source, whenever possible. Our plugins are public; clients can move on without us
- Teach and share generously. Open source, articles or code. Workshops, blogs, documentation; we make teams independent of us
- No zero-sum mindset. No trade secrets, only collective success
"We'd rather make ourselves redundant. Because a good platform doesn't
need an agency, it needs an owner."
WHAT: What we do ¶
- 🎯 We specialize in building advanced e-commerce solutions with Vendure
- Complete Vendure ecommerce platforms for SMBs
- Open source Vendure plugins
- Vendure workshops and team training
- Migrations from X,Y,Z to Vendure
RESULT: What it leads to ¶
Ecommerce becomes fun again.
Entrepreneurs sell instead of fighting their platform.
Developers ship interesting features instead of boilerplate.
Proof this is our real WHY ¶
| What we already do | How it proves the WHY |
|---|---|
| Open source plugins | Clients can continue without us |
| Workshops for dev teams | We make teams independent of us |
| Share code and knowledge articles | Give clients the knowledge to do it themselves |
Decision rules ¶
- Client wants locked-down, non-reusable custom work? → No, unless we can make it open/reusable
- Vendure goes closed-source or gets too expensive? → We switch. Client ownership comes before our stack
- Enterprise with big budgets but 6-week iterations? → Not a fit for anti-waste; only if we're allowed to speed up the process
